Kimbal builds trusted tools for efficient energy distribution. Driven by insane energy, the Kimbal team is turning the impossible into reality—creating products that accelerate the global energy transition. As they reshape the energy infrastructure, we partnered with them to redefine the brand image. The goal was to build a visual language that not only showcases what they make, but also reflects what they're made of.

Ever-evolving design language

For a brand taking on challenges like transforming the energy sector, a visual language that’s both clear and constantly evolving is essential. Inspired by the idea that energy is always in motion, we created "energy vessels"—dynamic forms that give design a place to flow. These endless interpretations unlocked endless possibilities and became not only the brand’s most powerful design tool but also a key element in bringing the visual identity to life.

Cohesiveness in newness.

We refined and defined key brand assets to bring the brand alive at every touch point. This included a new—and only—typeface, a revised colour grid, and an icon library specially designed for Kimbal people to create their own supporting communication material. While their team grows at 3X speed and the company scales 10X every year, we ensured the brand continues to have one voice, one visual language.
